My Healing Journey
I am Misty Rose Merck and my business is Misty Roses Healing. I began my journey to heal after my second child was born when I suddenly began to experience health ailments. When I was not able to be diagnosed after seeing several doctors and taking many tests, I began to look to natural and alternative medicine to try and find healing and support.
I was introduced to doTERRA in 2010. doTERRA has helped me on my healing journey and given me a level of support that allowed me to keep moving forward while I struggled with the physical symptoms of the ailment that was changing my life slowly everyday. The ailment was hard but the not knowing and then not being given help, all while knowing that something was wrong, was the most difficult part.
I'd love to say that everything got better overnight but that wasn't my story. My experience was a slow climb back. It took me sixteen years to find an alternative health clinic that was finally able to diagnose my hidden issue, it is Hypothyroidism. This wasn't a surprise to me as all of my research of the symptoms I was experiencing pointed to it. But all of these years my labs were always normal no matter how terrible my symptoms were.
Over the last two years I have started thyroid medicine as well as other treatments. It is making a vast improvement. Before these two years, I had doTERRA and energy work and they both kept me going. I first started with the essential oils and then began to use the Lifelong Vitality Pack (LLV). I noticed changes, having a little more energy and feeling a little better. Life was still a roller coaster of uncertainty but I know that without doTERRA, things would have been far worse.
My symptoms were extreme fatigue, foggy brain, sluggishness, weight gain and difficulty losing weight, cold extremities, fragile and thinning nails and hair, depression, and pain were the most predominate. doTERRA supported me as I experienced these symptoms while I searched for the root cause. Now with treatment for my thyroid, I am noticing even more results when I use doTERRA's products. I am now experiencing better health and wellness.
I use Rhodiola Rosea from New Chapter, many essential oils like Adaptiv, Frankincense, Copaiba, Helichrysum, Melissa and Rescuer, LLV Pack, and Adaptiv Capsules to help with the depression. I use Copaiba, Frankincense, Yarrow/Pom, Turmeric, and Rescuer (internal and external), and Deep Blue (external) for pain. I use Terrazyme Capsules for digestive support that aids my whole body at the cellular level along with Yarrow/Pom Capsules and DDR Prime oil. I use all of the above and more for energy, strength, vitality and wellness.
My illness became a gift in my life. It was on my journey to recover my health that I discovered my spiritual gifts as an Energy Worker. I am a Certified Usui Holy Fire Reiki Master, Life Coach, Shamanic Practitioner, Level 1 Heart Centered Therapy Practitioner, Spiritual Intuitive and Aromatouch Technique Practitioner. All of this because I was seeking answers to heal myself.
